These terms apply to the use of UPVERSE Kids platform. By enrolling your child, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Parental Authorization & Consent

Only parents or legal guardians can create accounts and enroll children in UPVERSE Kids. By using our service, you:

  • Confirm you are the parent or legal guardian of the child
  • Consent to your child's participation in our educational programs
  • Agree to our Privacy Policy and these Terms of Service
  • Accept responsibility for your child's account and activity
  • Assume all liability for your child's use of the platform

2. Age Requirements

UPVERSE Kids is designed for children ages 5-17 years old. We require:

3. Account Responsibilities

  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
  • Monitor your child's account activity regularly
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
  • Review privacy settings and adjust as needed

3.2 Child Account

  • Ensure your child uses only age-appropriate content
  • Supervise screen time and learning activity
  • Teach your child responsible online behavior
  • Encourage honest quiz responses for accurate learning assessment

4. Our Educational Services

4.1 Learning Content

We provide:

  • Curriculum-aligned educational quizzes and exercises
  • Personalized learning recommendations based on progress
  • Age-appropriate and grade-level content
  • AI-powered feedback and educational insights
  • Group learning features for classrooms or families

4.2 Content Limitations

Our service is for educational purposes only. We do not:

4.3 No Guarantees

While we strive to provide quality educational content, we do not guarantee:

  • Results of using our platform will match expectations

5. Safe Learning Environment Standards

5.2 Prohibited Content & Behavior

6.1 Refund Policy

  • Subscriptions cancelled 7+ days before renewal: Full refund
  • Cancellations within 7 days: No refund, but access continues until end of billing period
  • Technical issues preventing access: Full refund or replacement service
  • Refunds processed within 5-10 business days

7. Parental Controls & Monitoring

Parents have full control through:

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • UPVERSE is provided "as is" without warranties
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
  • We are not liable for loss of data or service interruptions
  • We are not liable for third-party content or services
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by parent

Except: This does not limit liability for gross negligence or violations of children's privacy laws.

11. Account Termination

We may terminate accounts in the following circumstances:

  • Violation of these Terms of Service
  • Harassment or threatening behavior
  • Unauthorized access or security breaches
  • Content that violates child safety standards
  • Non-payment of subscription fees

Upon termination: All data will be deleted within 30 days unless you request otherwise.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms to reflect service improvements or legal requirements. We will:

  • Notify parents via email of significant changes
  • Provide 30 days notice before changes take effect
  • Require explicit consent for material changes
  • Allow account cancellation if you disagree with changes
